DESCRIPTION:Kra goes to Vienna! Join us on our first Vienna show on may 30th at Off-Theater! \n \na performance about solving conflicts in a catalan village \nThe conference is over\, the committees have deliberated\, another summit has concluded. So\, we now know about the essential problems of our world and our time\, and we know who is taking care of them: Serious men\, in serious suits\, with serious expressions in big cities\, at large tables\, with grand speeches and grand gestures. Yet\, seemingly little progress is being made. One gets the impression that conflicts are increasing\, new crises emerge\, and the old ones have either hardened or are flaming up again. Everything appears interconnected yet seemingly solvable only individually – everything seems infinitely complex. \nYes\, when looking at the world and its big problems\, one sometimes feels quite small and alone. But we are not alone; we are two. We are KRA! And we dedicate ourselves to the essential crises of our time. We march out and travel to wherever there are problems. However\, we don’t go to the centers and core areas\, the metropolises of conflict\, but to its borders\, to the marginal and peripheral areas. From one small village to another. We don’t focus on the grand world; we focus on the small one. Because that’s where we come from\, and that’s where we are familiar. And there\, we have also learned that there is hardly a problem that cannot be approached and perhaps even overcome with a proper conversation\, an argument\, and a glass of Schnaps. \n_____ \nDie Konferenz ist vorbei\, die Gremien haben getagt\, ein weiterer Gipfel ist vorüber. Wir wissen jetzt also um die wesentlichen Probleme unserer Welt und unserer Zeit\, und wir wissen\, wer sich darum kümmert: Ernste Männer\, in ernster Kleidung\, mit ernsten Mienen in großen Städten\, an großen Tischen\, mit großer Rede und großen Gesten. Und doch tut sich damit offensichtlich wenig. Man hat den Eindruck\, die Konflikte werden mehr\, neue Krisen kommen hinzu und die alten haben sich längst schon verhärtet oder flammen wieder von neuem auf. Alles scheint miteinander verwoben und doch nur einzeln zu lösen: Alles scheint so unendlich komplex. \nJa\, wenn man auf die große Welt schaut und auf die großen Probleme darin\, dann fühlt man sich manchmal recht klein und allein. Aber wir sind nicht allein\, wir sind zu zweit. Wir sind KRA! Und wir widmen uns den wesentlichen Krisen unserer Zeit. Wir rücken aus und reisen an\, wo auch immer es Probleme gibt. Wir begeben uns allerdings nicht in die Zentren und Kerngebiete\, in die Metropolen des Konflikts\, sondern an dessen Grenzen\, ins Marginale und in die Peripherie. Von einem Kaff ins andere. Wir schauen nicht in die große\, sondern in die kleine Welt. Denn von dort kommen wir und dort kennen wir uns aus.
